Who are we?
I discovered the world of miniatures in 2015 , a true revelation! A few years later, illness forced me to change course after a career in social work and event planning . That's when I decided to dedicate myself fully to my passion: creating scenery and painting miniatures .
I started out as a Warhammer 40k player (yes, I love Dark Elves , it's a cliché 😉), then I moved on to Bolt Action — I'm a huge fan of the Americans , especially the Rangers . I'm also just starting out with Bushido (any advice is welcome!) and I play Blood Bowl for its strategic and skirmish aspects.
I created ChloeDecorWargame on Facebook and Instagram in November 2024 , where I share tutorials, tips, and creations. After several months of work, my website has launched—a new adventure that I'm building step by step with you.
The world of ChloeDecorWargame
This is where everything comes to life — amidst wood, brushes, resin… and a joyful creative mess!
The photo you see was taken the day I set up my new studio. Needless to say, it's not nearly as tidy now 😅. There are always several projects underway at the same time (drying time forces me to start others), but ultimately, that's what gives the place its charm.
I am quite proud of my little kingdom: I finally have space, shelves to store everything and above all something to store my war chest — twigs, pebbles, pots of PVA glue (lots of PVA glue, because it disappears quickly when you use it!).
Before I had my own studio, I worked directly… at my dining room table. Needless to say, when friends came over for coffee or tea, I had to move the scenery, figurines, and paintbrushes aside to find a free corner of the table. Now, I can welcome them in peace—and keep my joyful creative chaos all to myself, in my own studio.
It's my space of freedom, passion and endless tinkering… and I love it.
